Shag Hood - Fallen Rock

Kinda shaggy looking, weighs next to nothing, and does one job brilliantly. The Shag Hood is exactly what it sounds like: the hood of the Shag Hoodie on its own, so you can add active insulation to any layer already in your kit. It's made from Polartec® Alpha Direct, the hydrophobic, air permeable fleece first developed for the US military and since adopted by ultralight hikers as a standalone warmth layer, with an adjustable cord to keep it snug. At around 33 grams it's the sort of thing you throw in a pack and forget, right up until the temperature drops and you're very glad it's there.
