The 005 counts grams. The 055 counts hours. Norda's first all distance, all mountain shoe: higher stack, taller collar, more shoe underfoot for the days that keep going and going. Two years in the making and already a course record holder before it ever reached a shelf. Rachel Entrekin won the 2026 Cocodona 250 in a pair nobody could buy yet, breaking the 250 mile record in just over 56 hours.

Description

Where the 005 chases the lightest, fastest race day ever made, the 055 takes the opposite view: MORE IS MORE. Built for the ultra efforts most of us only read about and stress tested on every corner of the planet.

An upper woven entirely from bio-circular Dyneema®, the strongest fibre for its weight on earth, giving abrasion resistance, breathability and near instant water drainage from a single sheet of fabric. New for the 055 is a one piece seamless knit collar, a Norda first, that wraps the ankle like a second skin to lock the foot in and seal trail debris out over the long stuff. Underfoot, a 100% Arnitel® TPEE midsole at a 38mm stack returns better than 75% of the energy you put in and holds that rebound whether you're running through desert heat or an alpine cold snap with no bottoming out. The outsole is a bespoke Vibram® Megagrip Elite build with Litebase® technology, shaving roughly 30% off the sole's weight without giving up grip on technical ground. Sawtooth bio-circular Dyneema® laces and Norda's dynamic lace lock keep the whole thing dialled, mile after mile after mile.
