The Orange Tee is a progressive ultralight shell garment designed for trail running or other activities where you need weather protection but never want to be weighed down or restricted in motion. The idea is that you should always be able to fit this garment in your backpack and be prepared for any unexpected mountain weather. From a layering perspective, the idea with The Orange Tee, is actually to enable you to wear other garments more. When you head out for a run, hike, or long climbing route you don’t really want to wear a fully waterproof jacket, but you need to bring one in case of unpredictable mountain weather. You will be sheltered from the worst of any weather, but in an unbelievable light and compact form. The short sleeves do not only save weight, but also lets you move completely unrestricted. The relaxed fit makes it easy to layer on top of a base layer, wind jacket or even warming mid-layer if you are out and about in winter conditions.
