We've been asked to share a packing list for a while but I've always been shy to share mine because I'm a grub and don't take a change of clothes (don't you always pick the outfit you're most comfortable in anyway!?).

I keep my packing light and minimal and have everything I need without feeling like a packhorse. I don't deprive myself and always take a bar of chocolate - and sometimes, if I'm feeling fancy, I take my Birkenstocks.

My baseweight is 4.6kg. Baseweight = weight of all of your gear inside your pack minus consumables like food, water, fuel and the clothes/shoes/poles you used during the day.
