The Maurten GEL 100 is entirely different from the other gels available. Traditional gels are water and carbohydrates mixed into syrups, often containing added flavours and preservatives - this is a biopolymer matrix filled with a unique blend of fructose and glucose (ratio of 0.8:1), enabling uptakes of up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour.
The GEL 100 is built by harnessing natural hydrogel technology and built with six natural ingredients. It doesn’t contain any colourants or preservatives and comes in 40g servings. Each serving contains 60% carbohydrates – a high weight to energy ratio.Ingredients:Water, Fructose, Glucose, Calcium Carbonate, Gluconic acid, Sodium alginate.
