Founded in 2023 by designer Nur Abbas, Gnuhr is a study in minimalism and function. Nur brings experience from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Maison Martin Margiela, and Nike ACG to his independent label, blending a career deep in technical expertise with a passion for ultralight backpacking.
Inspired by a drive for simplicity, Gnuhr applies an ultralight ethos to outdoor and everyday apparel. Prioritising purpose and performance, the brand uses high-efficiency materials such as Polartec Alpha Direct, chosen for it's outstanding and unrivalled thermal efficiency (read more about that here!).
The collection builds a versatile layering system suited for both the outdoors and daily life. Foundational pieces like the Creeper Crew Merino, constructed from a buttery soft merino wool blend, sit next to the skin providing comfort and warmth. Pieces like the Shag Tee, Sweater and Hoodie can then be layered over your base layers for active insulation that traps heat like nothing else when worn with a windproof shell over the top.
A less technical piece but one you will catch us all wearing at Coffee Outdoors is the Tubular Tee - The biggest innovation in t-shirt construction in 100 years of t-shirt manufacturing. The tee is crafted from a single piece of fabric, with a tubular jersey construction that eliminates the need for side seams. Through innovative pattern cutting, the shoulder and armhole seams are also removed, enhancing both comfort and manufacturing efficiency.
