A water filter so light there is no excuse carrying it! Weighing just 33 grams, this is technically a replacement cartridge for a water filter, but we're always looking for clever base weight savings here at Coffee Outdoors. This cartridge with cleaning adapter fits a 28mm bottle on both ends, making it the lightest gravity filter on the market, for reference the Sawyer Mini (advertised as the world's lightest filter) is almost double the weight!

As with everything from Montbell, the amount of research and development that goes into their products is pretty next level. This filter removes 99.9999% of bacteria & protozoa and has an advertised flow rate of 2.8L per minute but our testing has produced even faster rates when squeezed with a CNOC Vecto bladder or Igneous Gear NOBO bottle.

This filter might not come with caps to protect it from dust and dirt, but we think that is a fair compromise for the weight saving, we would recommend popping your filter and bladder in a Smelly Proof bag for protection.
