Skinshield Patch
Last one in stock!
Nothing ends a big day out faster than a blister you could have stopped hours ago. The Igneous Gear Skinshield Patch is rigid strapping tape, cut to size and ready to press straight onto a hot spot before it has a chance to turn into a blister. It is stiff and seriously sticky, the kind of tape that stays put through sweat, sock rub and river crossings for days at a time rather than peeling off the moment you take your boots off.
This is the tape trampers and ultra runners quietly rely on when the days get long and back to back, Te Araroa included, where a well taped foot is often the difference between a good day and a long limp home. The patches come already cut, and that is the whole point: a hot spot is covered in seconds, with no spool to unwind and no scissors to dig out at the end of a long day. If you have taped up with Leukotape P before, you will know exactly what to do with these.
