The Thermo Control Pullover runs 136 g/m² Polartec Alpha Direct for proper warmth retention, with a mesh build that keeps breathing so you don't cook inside it. It dries fast and holds its warmth even when damp, which is exactly what you want when the weather can't make up its mind. Light enough to throw on when the sun drops, or to run as a midlayer under a shell.

Polartec Alpha Direct started life as a military insulation fill and got adopted by ultralight hikers as a standalone fleece replacement. Low density fibres held between air permeable woven layers move warmth and moisture more cleverly than ordinary fleece, so it adapts as your effort changes.
