The Yamatomichi MINI2 Backpack is the purest ultralight pack Yamatomichi make, built for fastpacking and minimalist tent trips. It's the same featherweight roll top build as the MINI, carrying the load high on your shoulders and chest with your waist left free for up to around 8kg, but the zippered pocket makes way for big open mesh front and side pockets, a nod to the early 2000s packs that kicked ultralight hiking off. Stuff a wet tent in at dawn without a second thought, see everything you own at a glance and let it all drain and dry as you walk. The roll top holds around 25 litres and expands past 35, and the top strap, bungee cords and bottom attachment loops carry any overflow. It comes with a removable Minimalist Pad, an included hip belt to cut sway at speed and a pack liner.
Size guide:
Back length - Measure your torso from the C7 vertebra (the bony bump at the base of your neck) to the most prominent part of your hip bone.
Medium: back length 45-54cm, suits heights around 150-175cm.
Large: back length 54-57cm, suits heights around 170-190cm.
