MINI Backpack - TS White

The Yamatomichi MINI Backpack is the perfect combination of ultralight and comfort for your day hikes and overnight adventures. Known as the standard for ultralight backpacks in Japan, it carries the load high across your shoulders and chest so your waist stays free to move on steep, up and down trails. Most people will comfortably carry up to around 8kg thanks to supportive shoulder straps that spread the weight rather than dig in. The roll top holds about 25 litres and expands to 30 when a trip needs it and the top strap, bungee cords and bottom attachment loops give you plenty of ways to attach extra gear. It comes with a removable Minimalist Pad tucked in the back panel that doubles as a sit or emergency mat, an included hip belt to steady the load, and a pack liner to keep everything dry. In TS White the front pocket and base are Technoforce Steel, a 100 percent UHMWPE fabric that's lighter than the coloured version it can float on water yet strong enough to take years of abuse, making this the lightest and toughest MINI we stock. The front pocket is zippered rather than open mesh, better suited to our rain, with a key hook inside for a headlamp or multitool. 

Size guide:
Back length - Measure your torso from the C7 vertebra (the bony bump at the base of your neck) to the most prominent part of your hip bone.
Medium: back length 45-54cm, suits heights around 150-175cm.
Large: back length 54-57cm, suits heights around 170-190cm.
If you're over about 175cm go for the Large, but try both if you can.
