The Makalu FX TA Poles are an aluminium, three-section hiking pole that folds down to 40cm. By folding AND having a telescopic section, the pole can be stowed smaller than other aluminum poles whilst still being compatible with hiking pole tents. Featuring a recent innovation from Leki, Aergon Air grip. The ergonomic shape and cavity technology of the Aergon Air ensures maximum comfort and absolute control while hiking. The rubberized grip head provides maximum grip when going downhill.
