Made from scratch the proper way: onions slow-cooked in coconut oil, cumin and mustard seeds fried till they pop, roasted spices, curry leaves and rampe. It hits you with soulful, tropical comfort. Deeply nourishing, fiery, fragrant and unapologetically rich. Parcooked to 90% then dehydrated. The perfect meal at the hut or campsite. CAUTION: You will cause food envy.

Ingredients:
Lentils (NZ), Onions (NZ), Coconut Oil (Pacific), Ginger (TH), Garlic (NZ), Dried Chillies (SL), Aiyo Thuna Paha – a spice blend of Coriander, cumin fennel, turmeric, mustard, fenugreek, cinnamon, cardamom, and clove (SL/IN), Green Chillies (NZ), Curry Leaves (FJ), Rampe Leaves (VN), Mustard Seeds (IN), Cumin Seeds (IN).

Specifications

  • Features: Serves two with rice or one on its own.
  • Add water, coconut cream (powder makes it lighter!) salt and if you feel fancy, a squeeze of lemon.
